By balancing the quantity and quality of light in the Lumatek “Full-Spectrum” LED horticultural solutions, the light is evenly distributed. The full-spectrum light source is Lumileds and Osram LEDs, which produce light ideal for the growth and flowering phases of plants.

In general, 18 hours of light is preferred for a growing plant and 12 hours for a flowering plant. This applies to both conventional grow lights and LED lighting. Things have changed with the advent of LED lighting. LED lighting emits less heat and the ideal temperature is easier to control.
