General Terms and Conditions of the Bud Season online shop

The General Terms and Conditions of Business deal with the operation of the online shop Bud Season, mail order and internet shop, Rok Budiselić s. P., Polje cesta V/4, 1260 Ljubljana – the field of the user’s rights and the business relationship between the company and the customer. The online shop is operated by the company Bud Season, mail order and internet shop, Rok Budiselić s.p., Polje cesta V/4, 1260 Ljubljana -Polje (hereinafter referred to as the provider). The Buyer is entitled to all rights under the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot) and the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1).

The Provider undertakes to provide the following information to the Buyer at all times:

  • identity of the legal person
  • contact addresses to enable fast and efficient communication
  • deliverability of products
  • the conditions for delivery of the product or performance of the service (method, place and time of delivery)
  • method of payment and delivery
  • the time validity of the offer
  • the period within which the contract may still be withdrawn from and the conditions for withdrawal; in addition, the cost to the buyer of returning the product
  • the complaints procedure, including full details of the contact person

Payment method

Upon confirmation of the order, the buyer selects the desired payment option for the goods:

  • Cash on delivery (cash)
  • Payment as a bank transfer (by bank draft)
  • Payment by MasterCard and Visa.

For credit card payments and other bank transfers, your money transfer provider (e.g. bank) will charge a fee in accordance with their current price list.

Delivery charge

You will be charged postage in accordance with the current GLS Post price list. If you pay by bank transfer or credit card, the postage fee is 4,00 EUR + 22% VAT, up to 50,00 EUR. For purchases over €50.00, postage is free. For cash on delivery, an additional commission fee of EUR 3.00 + 22% VAT will be charged. The amount of the commission is indicated when you place an order in the online shop Cash on delivery is possible up to a maximum of €2,000 including VAT.

There is no fee when you pay by bank transfer or debit card.


We undertake to deliver the goods as soon as possible. The delivery time is 1-3 days from the date the order is accepted. The ordered goods will be delivered by GLS Post. If the product is not available at the time of purchase, this delivery time does not apply. Delivery is made to the address you enter when you place your order. If you are not at home at the time of delivery, a GLS employee will leave a message so that you can pick up the goods at the nearest branch. Delivery via GLS Post is made to the address twice. The third delivery period is chargeable and borne by the buyer. If the customer wishes to collect the parcel at a Bud Sizon address, this is possible but must be arranged by telephone in advance. Personal collection is free of charge.



Purchases are subject to the prices at the time of order confirmation. Prices in the online shop are subject to change without notice. The Provider has the right to change prices if they have been incorrectly entered in the online shop’s database. It must inform the buyer in advance and agree on the way forward. All photos of items are symbolic and do not reflect the actual condition.

Purchase procedure

The buyer must first register before placing an order. In this way, the buyer obtains a username and a password, which are unambiguously defined and linked to the data entered in the buyer’s registration. 1. Confirmation and award

After placing an order, the customer receives an email notification that the order has been accepted. The message contains a summary of the order and all the necessary information for the buyer on how to proceed with the purchase. This communication is for information only. The customer can cancel the order on the Purchase Overview page. Only purchases with a “pending” status can be cancelled

2. Order confirmed

If the buyer does not cancel the order, the order will be processed further. Once the order has been reviewed, the supplier checks the deliverability of the items ordered and confirms the order or rejects it with a reason. The Supplier may call the Buyer’s contact telephone number or contact the Buyer by e-mail to verify the information or to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Upon confirmation of the order, the supplier shall inform the buyer of the estimated delivery time.

3. Invoicing and payment

At this stage, the tenderer shall issue a final invoice. In case the buyer has chosen to pay via a transaction account (TRR), the supplier will wait to forward the goods until he receives a bank confirmation of payment of the invoice issued. In other cases, payment of the order is due upon collection.

4. Acceptance or. delivery of goods

The Supplier prepares, delivers or dispatches the goods within the agreed time limit and notifies the Buyer by email or telephone. Returns or exchanges are subject to the conditions set out below. The purchase contract is concluded in Slovenian. The contract was concluded as soon as the customer confirmed his acceptance of the terms of use and placed the order.

5. Right of withdrawal, return of goods

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract in writing within 15 days. The Buyer must inform the Seller in writing of the intended refund, by post or e-mail, no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract (placing of the order). The consumer must then return the goods to the company within 15 days of the written notification, bearing the direct costs of return. The cost of returning the goods is determined according to the price list of the Post of Slovenia. Returned products must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging, which must be intact, otherwise the return will be refused. A copy of the invoice must be attached. The Provider shall refund the total purchase price (purchase price plus delivery costs) as soon as possible, but at the latest within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation notice. In the event that the item is returned to Bud Sizon for any reason and the consumer wishes to exchange the item with another item, this is possible. The parcel is returned to the consumer free of charge.

Products with warranty

The guarantee is the original invoice, which you will receive upon delivery of your shipment. The guarantee is valid subject to the instructions included in the package. The product is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase. There is no guarantee when buying ornamental seeds. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract without explanation within 15 days of receipt of the goods ordered. The goods received must be returned within 30 days of the date on which the withdrawal is notified. The returned goods must be unused, undamaged, in the original packaging including the original invoice.The Buyer must inform the Seller in writing of the intended return within 15 days of receipt of the goods, at the contact e-mail address We will also replace the goods if we have sent you the wrong product because of our mistake. We will refund the purchase price if the fault lies with the seller. In the event of an incorrect item ordered by the buyer, the purchase price is non-refundable, the item will be replaced with another item, postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Ornamental seeds are not eligible for replacement or claim.

Damage during delivery

The buyer should inspect the contents of the consignment on receipt. In case of damage to the consignment, the Buyer shall return the entire consignment (package, protective packaging, products) to Rok Budiselić S.p, Polje cesta V./4, 1260 Ljubljana-Polje.


Complaints are accepted within one month from the date of purchase.

If you have received goods that are unusable or damaged, please return them to us at Rok Budiselić S.p, Polje cesta V./4, 1260 Ljubljana-Polje. If possible, we will replace it, otherwise we will refund the money to your TRR. The buyer must enclose a copy of the invoice, a detailed description of the damage or defect in the item. BUD SEASON, Rok Budiselić S.p. reserves the right to refuse a claim in the following cases:

  • if we find that the item is unusable or. injury caused by your improper handling
  • if the goods have not been returned in their original packaging
  • if the goods are sent to our address with a ransom note


The online shop provider, in cooperation with the website hosting manager, uses appropriate technological and organisational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data, orders and payments.

Protection of personal data

We protect all customer data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1). When registering, the buyer provides the following personal data: name and surname, residential address, delivery address, e-mail address and telephone number. By confirming the data entered, the customer agrees to the use of personal data for the following purposes: fulfilment of contractual obligations, statistical processing, informing customers about new products, direct marketing campaigns and prize draws. We will not disclose personal data to third parties or transfer it to third countries. We will process the collected data until the customer’s consent is withdrawn. Archiving contracts

All contracts and invoices will be kept in writing. The purchase contract is permanently stored with the provider. On the Budseason website, the user profile, all the customer’s orders and invoices are available to the customer for consultation and can be transmitted electronically on request.


Customers can complain by phone, mail or e-mail. It is in the interest of the provider that all complaints and any disputes are resolved out of court and in accordance with the law. In the event of a court dispute, the Ljubljana court has jurisdiction. Date: 5.9.2012
