Description
DimLux Xtreme Series LED+NIR 500W
DimLux Xtreme Series LED+NIR 500W sets new benchmarks for garden lighting. With patented technology, advances in LED technology and optimum thermal design, the Dimlux Xtreme Series LED will be the preferred choice, delivering growers a significant return on investment. The PhytoVegSpec® adjustable spectrum for growth combines full control over the quality (spectral adjustability) and quantity (intensity and DLI) of light, ensuring even dispersion and distribution of light with exceptional canopy penetration.
The DimLux Xtreme Series LED+NIR 500W delivers a very high level of PPFD, evenly distributed over a 1.5 × 1.5 m growing area, with a full spectrum of growth, allowing consistently high quality and high yields of indoor crops.
The Dimlux Xtreme LED series can be dimmed without loss of efficiency. The spectrum and output power can be programmed according to the time of day and the crop growth stage.
LCD display:
- All settings, status, faults and spectra are displayed on the LCD screen.
Phytovegspec Indoor + NIR:
- The PhytoVegSpec® Indoor +NIR Adjustable Growth Spectrum combines full control over the quality (spectral adjustability) and quantity (intensity and DLI) of light, ensuring even dispersion and uniform light distribution with exceptional canopy penetration.
- NIR stands for near-infrared spectroscopy and refers to the analytical technique of using near-infrared radiation to analyse samples for composition or characteristic properties.
- The NIR is a region of the electromagnetic spectrum that has unique properties that make it very useful for the characterisation of materials. The NIR range extends from 700 to 2500 nm. Light in this range interacts with OH, NH and CH bonds, and specific wavelengths (frequencies) are associated with each type of bond.
How does the NIR help plants?
The most comprehensive information on the effects of all …
- Infrared light produces a heating effect that provides heat for plant growth and development. Under the influence of infrared light, fruit ripening is generally uniform. Increasing this light can affect the rate of growth of plant stems. Short-term exposure to infrared light increases the space between nodes (Nodi).
- NIR is mainly intended for all flowering plants growing in slightly cooler areas as it encourages faster flowering.
65K multi-colour patented auxiliary light pipe:
- The RGB auxiliary LED with more than 65,000 colours can be used as a supplementary light and can be used as a green work light during the dark phase. The work light can be automatically switched on by an internal radar proximity sensor
