Grodan Rockwool Cubes are perfectly suited for propagating cuttings and seedlings. Grodan Tray 77 Cubes are spun from molten rock into fine fibres and then compressed into shapes such as cubes, blocks or slabs.

Grodan has a unique position in the market because it produces different types of fibres compared to other manufacturers who cut everything from one large batch of wool. The aim is to support the needs of the plants at different stages of planting.

Application:

• As stone wool is pH-neutral, it must be soaked to a pH value of 5,5 – 5,8 before use.
• The 3.6 x 3.6 x 4 cm size fits into larger Grodan cubes with a large hole.

Grodan has a remarkable ability to absorb nutrient solution while retaining a lot of oxygen for faster plant growth.

The sternum is available in standardised sizes. Cuttings loaded in cubes can easily be transplanted into blocks and then onto plates, or they can be transplanted into other growing media such as soil or coconut.
