PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A digital hydroponic testing meter for measuring water’s acidity, alkalinity, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), temperature, and salinity (salt content) to help optimize its quality for gardening and water treatment applications. The highly responsive sensor probe utilizes a lithium glass membrane to instantly determine pH readings with highly precise ±0.01 accuracy. This all-in-one pH pen tester for water features an IP-67 rating, specially sealed to withstand moisture and heat, as well as block out intrusive dust and sand. For further protection, the hydroponic pH meter is built with a sensor shield to safeguard your probe in between uses. The included 4.00 pH, 7.00 pH, 12.88 mS, and 1413 µS calibration solutions ensure consistently accurate measurements, while the 3M KCL solution supports proper storage conditions to help extend the lifespan of the pH and PPM meter.

Important advise to use pH meter and to not damage the probe!

• Regarding storage and use: pH probes should always be kept in KCL storage solution so that they do not dry out. They should never be stored in distilled water, and preferably not in tap water either. You can of course test tap water or similar water sources with the meter, but after use the probe should be cleaned properly and then stored again in KCL solution. This applies in general to all pH meters.
• The same general rule also applies here: pH probes should not be stored in distilled water, and ideally not in tap water. Measuring tap water, RO water, house pipe water, or similar samples is not a problem in itself, as long as the probe is cleaned afterwards and stored correctly in KCL solution.
• Since the AC-PHM7 is a 2-in-1 device with pH and EC measurement, the situation is a little different: an EC meter alone would not necessarily need to be stored in KCL solution, and for many EC meters this is not required. However, because this unit also contains a pH probe, storage in KCL solution is essential in order to protect the pH electrode and prevent it from drying out.
