Alien Root Rot X 5L is suitable for all hydroponic applications including – RDWC, DWC, Flood & Drain, Drip Feed, NFT & Rockwool.

ROOT ROT X™ is a versatile and fast-acting root steriliser. It has been shown to work on a wide range of pathogens, including Pythium. WITHOUT chemicals such as aldehyde, alcohol, bleach and QAC, ROOT ROT X™ quickly kills bacteria and removes established biofilm in a single treatment.

Hypochlorous acid is relatively easy to produce in an unstable form. However, thanks to revolutionary technology, the Root Rot X™ is made completely stable and remains stable when you open it. ROOT ROT X™ is 99.99% effective against all levels of bacterial colonisation on roots, equipment and even water lines.

Application:

• Suitable for all hydroponic applications including – RDWC, DWC, Flood & Drain, Drip Feed, NFT & Rockwool.

The active ingredient, hypochlorous acid (HOCI), is an effective biocide with incredible bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and sporicidal properties. Hypochlorous acid is available in its purest form and has been formulated at a specific concentration. Thanks to revolutionary technology, the Root Rot X™ is designed to be 100% stable and remain stable when opened.

Dosage and use:

Weekly treatment in hydroponic systems:

• Add 1 ml per litre of water every 7 days for water temperatures of 20° or below.
• Add 1.5 ml per litre of water every 7 days for water temperatures above 20°.

Final nutrient rinse:

• Add 3-4 ml per litre of water during the last 3-5 days of flowering.

Cloning/replication:

• Add 15 ml per litre of water.
• Immerse the cuttings completely for 20 seconds, after which you can apply cloning gels or rooting powders.
• For rooted clones, add 3-5 ml per litre of water.

Cleaning the hydroponic system/tank:

• Add 20 ml per litre of water. Run the water pumps for 1-24 hours, then drain the system/reservoir.

Sterilisation of the cultivation room:

• Use undiluted. Walls, floors and non-electrical spray or mist equipment.

Root Rot X™ must be used with mineral-based nutrients and additives and should not be used with organic products.
