Bionic Ca15 5L is commonly found in cell walls and membranes and plays a special role in ionic reactions within plants. Calcium is transported in the plant by water conduction (xylem). In high humidity conditions or in compact crops, the conduction velocity is low and can lead to calcium deficiency. Calcium deficiency leads to softened cell walls, which immediately results in increased susceptibility to fungi and death of young leaves and tillers. Excess calcium can also occur, causing brown spots on the leaves.

This product contains 15% (180 gr/L) pure calcium and 8% nitrogen.

Advice from Bionova growers

✔ When yellow parts with brown round spots appear on the leaves, it is a calcium (Ca) deficiency, add Ca 15 to the culture. For fast recovery of plants from nutrient deficiencies.

✔ Apply about 15 weekly during fruit set to prevent common physical pathologies such as apical rot in tomatoes, bitter pitting in apple, fruit cracking and dried leaves in lettuce for example.

✔ When growing in a humid environment, double the dose of Ca 15 to strengthen the plant tissues.

✔ When using soft water or reverse osmosis water, use 3 times the normal dose of Ca15.

✔ Use Ca 15 to harden the germ tissue on mother plants just before cutting the clones to prepare for healthier rooting.

✔ To produce healthy seeds after pollination, increase the dose of Ca 15 together with MgO 10, both products contain nitrogen, which leads to sufficient nutrient uptake.

✔ To prepare a tailored feeding schedule: using Bionova Ca 15 mono-nutrient, you can precisely determine the amount of calcium to give to your crop.

✔ Mono-nutrients can be used for outdoor cultivation. After checking the soil and (irrigation) water, Bionova mono nutrients adjusts the nutrient elements to ensure sufficient nutrients are available.

Application:

• A dosage of 1 : 1000 increases Ca by 3.2 mmol
• In combination with Hydro-, Soil-, LongFlower-, AutoFlower- and NFT AQUA-SuperMix, 2 to 4 ml per 10 L of water can be added in areas with soft water.
• During periods of high humidity, continuously add 5 ml per 10 L of nutrient solution using a drip system.
