The deficiency of BioNova K20 5L becomes apparent when the plant does not open its stomata enough for evaporation to cool down. This results in the development of chlorosis on the edges of the leaves, which later develops into necrosis (death of the plant). If there is excess potassium, the plant’s development is limited and then darkens. The excess also interferes with the absorption of other cations (Ca and Mg).

Potassium also plays an important role in cell formation, osmotic regulation and carbohydrate uptake.
