Green Planet GPH Uptake 1 L is a humic acid used in the absorption of GPH, it is in liquid form. GPH is an essential ingredient in a soil or soilless garden as it exhibits wonderful beneficial properties.

The absorption of GPH is an essential organic supplement supplemented with roots. GPH humic acid is for all gardens with or without soil and increases nutrient uptake at all stages of plant growth and provides an energy source for beneficial microbes. Humic substances have been shown to increase chlorophyll content, increase respiration, induce hormone-like abilities and have been proven time and time again to increase yield. If you are an organic gardener or just use mineral salts in soil or a soil-like medium, you need GPH to boost your hard work.

GPH humic acid provides an energy source for beneficial soil microbes such as bacteria and fungi. Humic acid has a high carbon content, which is a source of energy for soil microbes. When the carbon is used up, it makes available a smaller fraction called fulvic acid, which shows the ability to chelate or make nutrients more readily available, increasing their absorption. The fulvic part also shows a hormone-like response.

Humic acid helps to improve soil structure, leading to a better air/water ratio, which the plans consider desirable. Humic substances also have a high CEC, or cation exchange capacity, which is indicative of their bioactivity. Humic acid derived from Humalite has the highest CEC of all sources, making it the most desirable for agriculture.

How does it work?

GPH Uptake is a soluble humic acid formula that helps the plant absorb nutrients throughout its life cycle. Humic acid acts as a chelator and, when added, will improve your soil’s ability to retain nutrients. This means that your growing medium holds all the added nutrients until your plant is ready to use them. When ready to use, the chelating properties of humic acid transform the nutrients into a form that is easily taken up by the plant. As a result, essential immobile micronutrients such as calcium are more easily absorbed by the plant. Humic acid also promotes the colonisation of mycorrhizal fungi in the rhizosphere of the plant. Mycorrhiza allows the plant to make full use of nutrients located in the root zone that would otherwise be inaccessible. This increases the plant’s ability to produce vigorous green growth in the vegetative phase and impressive yields in the flowering phase.

Application and dosage:

• For optimum results, use with each watering or fertilisation in conjunction with your regular feeding schedule: 5 ml/L water.
• For plants grown hydroponically, use GPF Uptake.
