Growth Technology Liquid Oxygen 1L provides the root system of plants with a powerful source of supplementary oxygen. Liquid oxygen prevents root diseases, especially when grown hydroponically.

What is Liquid Oxygen?

Liquid Oxygen is a strong solution of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).

When mixed with your nutrient solution, hydrogen peroxide breaks down into a water molecule (H2O) and an oxygen atom (O). An oxygen atom will then join another oxygen atom to form a stable dissolved O2 molecule, which will either “oxygenate” the water or attack microbes or other organic molecules and break them down. In this way, the liquid oxygen growth technology creates a highly oxygenated and sterile root zone. The roots thrive in a highly oxygenated solution and the lack of root diseases ensures that they do not get root rot.

The sterile solution produced by this product means that it is not suitable for organic cultivation or for use with other products that contain or require friendly microbes. Peroxide will destroy these microbes along with the unfriendly species, making this product unsuitable for use in these growth circumstances.

Using liquid oxygen?

Liquid oxygen is used throughout the growth and flowering cycle. Liquid oxygen is suitable for use in any medium/substrate, especially hydroponics. We advise against the use of liquid oxygen in organic farming as liquid oxygen does not work well on microbes.. Liquid oxygen is corrosive and requires the use of protective rubber gloves.

Dosage:

• 1 ml liquid oxygen per 1 litre of water and mix well. Check the pH value.
